Russian ambassador to Turkey
 [Mirror] Russia's ambassador to Turkey has been seriously wounded in an 'assassination attempt'.Ambassador Andrei Karlov was rushed to hospital after he was shot as he attended an event at an art gallery in the Turkish capital of Ankara. Photos published online by Turkish media showed Mr Karlov on the floor in a pool of blood. The gunman allegedly entered the art gallery with police identification, the Hurriyet newspaper reported.
