Airstrike kills 20, injures scores in Iraq’s Mosul

A warplane struck a marketplace in al-Baaj, 140 kilometers west of Mosul, Iraqi politician Zahed al-Khatoni told Anadolu Agency. He said the corpse count is expected to rise as many of the injured are in a serious condition. It remains unclear whether the raid was carried out by an aircraft belonging to the Iraqi air forces or the U.S.-led coalition.
