Afghanistan mosque blast hurts 6
[AA.TR] At least six people were hurt in an kaboom near a mosque in western Afghanistan on Sunday evening, security sources have said.A device went off near the Imam Baqir Shia mosque in the Bagh-E-Zubaida area, west of Herat ...a venerable old Persian-speaking city in western Afghanistan, populated mostly by Tadjiks, which is why it's not as blood-soaked as areas controlled by Pashtuns... city, a local police officer told news hounds. The improvised bomb went kaboom!as Shia Moslems gathered for evening prayers. "Six maimed people were shifted to our hospitals so far; one of them is at death's door," Mohammad Rafiq Shirzai, a front man for Herat hospital, told Anadolu Agency. No group has yet grabbed credit for the attack. Earlier on Sunday, the Afghan Interior Ministry claimed 49 bully boyz were killed and 16 others maimed in an operation in the eastern provinces of Helmand ...an Afghan province populated mostly by Pashtuns, adjacent to Injun country in Pak Balochistan... , Nangrahar and Paktika ...which coincidentally borders South Wazoo... , near the Pakistain border.
