Former administrator gunned down in southern Thailand
[Anadolu Agency] A former public school administrator was gunned down in a market in southern Thailand in what police suspect to be the latest operation against the Thai government. The slain former official also worked as an advisor to the chairman of the provincial administration organization of Yala province.Police captain Pongsak Promaket said that the man was ambushed by gunmen. He said, "The 59-year-old former school administrator was selling goods in a market in Yala province, when a group of men drew guns and shot him repeatedly before fleeing."
