Soddy kop shot in Dammam
Dammam – Security man, wearing plain clothes, was shot in Dammam by unknown assailants as the Eastern Region’s police announced the opening of investigations in the incident, which is considered the third of its kind during less than four months.
The police said that at 9.30 pm local time on Tuesday, Dammam police opened a case of shooting a security man, who was riding his own vehicle wearing plain clothes in Faiha neighborhood in Dammam. However, neither the security man nor any of the pedestrians in the area were hurt. Notably, the Saudi Ministry of Interior announced a list of nine wanted in Qatif for being involved in terrorist acts. Investigations showed that they were involved in targeting security men as they were behind the martyrdom of six security men and the injury of three others in one of the companies. In October 25, 2016, two Saudi security personnel were shot dead after they came under heavy gunfire from an unknown source while returning from their workplace in Ras Tanura province.
