Nephew of Muslim Brotherhood’s Ali Salabi killed in Benghazi fighting
[Libya Herald] The nephew of Ali Salabi, the man considered to be the ideological brains and real head of the Moslem Brüderbund in Libya, has been killed in Benghazi while fighting with the Benghazi Revolutionaries’ Shoura Council.A family member today confirmed to this newspaper that 17 yer-old Mohammed Salabi, died in fighting with the Libyan National Army three days ago. The circumstances of his death are unclear. His father Osama Salabi is a leading holy man and his uncle Ali last March backed the Libya-Libya dialogue insisting that Libyans were moderates. Salabi said that if Libya was to destroy the growing threat of terrorism there had to be a national unity government agreed by all Libyans, not one appointed by foreigners who were not interested in the good of Libya.
