20 more residences destroyed by ISIS in Nangarhar
Daesh militants struck again on Sunday night and set fire to at least 20 houses in the Kot district, local officials said.This comes after members of the group burned down at least 65 houses in the same district last week. On Monday, Nangarhar provincial officials said Daesh militants once again caused huge losses to locals after setting at least 20 homes alight. Kot district governor Sayed Rahman confirmed the incident and said that Daesh militants torched houses in Khorgi area of Kot district. Rahman said that the houses were empty at the time and no one was harmed in the incident. Rahman has however raised concern over the security of the Kot district and said if security is not dealt with the situation will deteriorate and Daesh activity will increase.
