Haftar’s forces fire at Italian trawler, Italy dismayed by militia behavior
[Libya Observer] Italian authorities said a fishing boat from Mazara del Vallo town was fired at from a ship of an "eastern militia", adding that the incident took place 20 miles off Benghazi and Derna coasts.According to a report by the Italian news agency - Aki - on Wednesday, the incident happened on Monday afternoon and was only revealed on Wednesday, adding that the captain of the fishing boat was very stern and calm so that he and his crew managed to avoid getting their trawler intercepted.The head of the Sea Resources Department in Italia, Giovanni Temporale, said it is unacceptable that the Italian fishermen would be in danger due to such piracy acts.
