[NOTTINGHAMPOST] A Guantanamo Bay prisoner with suspected Al Qaeda links who wanted to join his family in Nottingham is now a free man.Ravil Mingazov has been released after being imprisoned in the US detention camp at the military prison in Cuba for the past 14 years, and seven months after his release was approved. The Post reported in July last year that Mr Mingazov, 49, wanted to join his former wife and their teenage son, who live in Nottingham, to "live happily ever after in Sherwood Forest", and his lawyers had made a request to the Home Office.
