Militiaman dies in bomb attack in Diyala
Diyala (IraqiNews.com) A local source in Diyala Province revealed that one of al-Hashd al-Ashaeri’s fighters was killed in the explosion of an improvised explosive device, northeast of Baqubah, Alsumaria News reported on Sunday.The source said, “An improvised explosive device, emplaced on an agriculture road side near al-Aali village (44 km northeast of Baqubah) exploded, this morning, targeting a vehicle of al-Hashd al-Ashaeri.” “The explosion resulted in the killing of a fighter of al-Hashd al-Ashaeri, as well as causing damage to the vehicle,” the source added. “Security forces opened an investigation into the incident to determine its circumstances,” the source explained.
