Eight security personnel injured in Balochistan's Panjgoor
[DAWN] At least eight security personnel were maimed in Balochistan ...the Pak province bordering Kandahar and Uruzgun provinces in Afghanistan and Sistan Baluchistan in Iran. Its native Baloch propulation is being displaced by Pashtuns and Punjabis and they aren't happy about it... 's Panjgoor district when a military convoy was ambushed, security officials told DawnNews. "The security personnel were moving through the district's mountainous Gichak area to conduct a raid against miscreants when they were fired upon," said a security official. The injured security personnel were rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Extra forces were called to the area after the ambush and started a search operation. No arrests were reported after the incident. There was no claim of responsibility for the attack. Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Sanaullah Zehri strongly condemned the attack.
