Russian airstrikes kill 6 'Tahrir al-Sham' fighters in Idlib
[EN.ZAMANALWSL.NET] Russia's warplanes killed 6 rebel fighters on Friday in air strikes on the newly-formed Haya't Tahrih al-Sham alliance in Idlib province, local news hound said.

The aerial bombing hit a bastion for the formerly known as Nusra Front in Sarmin town, killing and wounding dozen.

A source told Zaman al-Wasl that Jabhet Fateh al-Sham hurried to establish the Committee as a result of the International Coalition targeting the Jabhet Fateh al-Sham fighter training camp for al-Sheikh Suleiman brigade in Aleppo’s western countryside. The Coalition attack conducted on 20 January 2017, resulted in the killing of over 100 Jabhat fighters.

representatives of the opposition arrived in Turkish capital Ankara to discuss the upcoming negotiation talks in Geneva, according to a Turkish diplomatic source.

The representatives of both the armed and the political opposition will attend a meeting at the Turkish Foreign Ministry later on Friday, the source told Anadolu Agency on condition of anonymity.

They are also expected to discuss the outcome of last month's Astana talks, which focused on extending the cease-fire that came into effect in Syria on Dec. 30.
