Airstrike in hits ISIS HQ in Kirkuk; 11 die
Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) Peshmerga official Kamal Kirkuki announced on Monday, that an airstrike conducted by the international coalition air force killed 11 fighters of the Islamic State, in addition to destructing a headquarters and a tunnel belonging to the group, northwest of Kirkuk.Kirkuki said in a press statement, “The Peshmerga Intelligence received accurate information about movements of the Islamic State near al-Kaba and Sertk village, in Dibs District (45 km northwest of Kirkuk), to attack Peshmerga forces.” “The information was sent to the international coalition air force, which subsequently carried out an airstrike on these gatherings, destroying them completely,” Kirkuki explained. “The airstrike also destructed a tunnel belonging to the group, as well as killing 11 members of the terrorist group,” Kirkuki further added.
