Police arrest a man at Heathrow on suspicion of preparing terrorist acts
[SkyNews] Police have arrested a 36-year-old man at Heathrow Airport on suspicion of preparing terrorist acts.

Counter-terrorism detectives detained the man when he arrived at the airport on Thursday afternoon.

He is being held under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act (PACE) at a west London police station.

Scotland Yard says enquiries are continuing.

Update from The Sun at 7:20 p.m. ET:
COPS have bailed a 36-year-old man arrested at Heathrow Airport on suspicion of preparing terrorist acts.

Counter-terrorism detectives swooped on the man on Thursday afternoon.

The suspect has since been questioned at a west London police station and released on bail to a date in mid-May.
