The source said, "Immediate evacuation of dozens of the Islamic State’s families started in some neighborhoods of western Mosul, especially near the stationing points of the security forces." "The evacuation is an evidence that these neighborhoods will fall soon, after the collapse of the nearby Islamic State’s defense lines," the source added on condition of anonymity. Earlier today, Prime Minister and General Commander of Armed Forces Haider al-Abadi announced launching the battle to liberate western Mosul from the Islamic State’s grip.
