Police arrest five accused of filming torture on naked man in Battagram
[DAWN] Police on Wednesday claimed to have locked awayYou have the right to remain silent... five suspects of stripping off and torturing a man and filming the entire scene to later upload on social media sites, it has been learnt. Subsequently, the video went viral on social media, prompting police to take action against the suspected culprits. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Allai Shahnawaz Khan told DawnNews that the crime took place in Allai area of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa ... formerly NWFP, still Terrorism Central... 's Battagram district, around three weeks ago. "The video shows four culprits stripping off a youth and torturing him with stick," he said. The police official informed DawnNews that a First Information Report of the case has been registered, and viewed that the case apparently seemed an honour dispute.
