Civilian, police agent killed in Baghdad blasts
[Iraq News] Bomb blasts in southern Baghdad left one police agent and one civilian dead on Sunday, according to security sources quoted by news reports.One casual police member was killed when a bomb fitted beneath his vehicle went kaboom!as he passed through al-Resala neighborhood in Abu Gharib, south of the capital, according to security sources. Also on southern Baghdad, a civilian was killed and four others were maimed when bomb went kaboom!near a popular market in Suweib neighborhood. Violence surged in Iraq with the emergence of Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi.
