Bomb under car seat kills Somali intelligence officer
A senior Somali intelligence officer was killed after and explosive device fitted into his luxury car exploded in Mogadishu’s Dharkenley district on Wednesday morning.The victim who was identified as Aden Abdullahi Isack has died on the spot, while two other people were slightly wounded in the bomb attached to the car, according to police officials. Isack was reported to be an intelligence officer working with Somali National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) based in Mogadishu, Somali Capital. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack, which was the latest in a string of car bombs and gun attacks in the capital, since the election of the new President in February 8.
