Mass grave of Peshmerga fighters found in Kirkuk
[Iraq News] Authorities in Kirkuk province have run into a mass grave containing the bodies of Kurdish Peshmerga troops, officials say.Shakhwan Abdullah, a member of the Iraqi parliament’s security and defense committee, said on Sunday that the grave, found in Daqouq region, contained the relics of 20 fighters fro m the Kurdistan Region’s army force who are believed to have been killed and buried by Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. Islamic State has executed hundreds of civilians and security members since it took over large areas in Iraq to proclaim a self-styled "Islamic Caliphate".
