Iraqi kops seize 3 bomb vestsKirkuk (IraqiNews.com) Iraqi police forces announced on Wednesday seizing three explosive belts southwest of Kirkuk. Chief of Kirkuk Police, Colonel Sarhad Kader said in a press statement, “Joint forces from Asayish (Kurdish security forces) and Peshmerga conducted a security operation in al-Raml Village in Baiji vicinity (25 km southwest of Kirkuk).” “The operation resulted in seizing three explosive belts,” Kader added. “The operation was conducted based on accurate intelligence information.” Security forces discover several caches of weapons and explosives belonging to the Islamic State and other armed groups in Kirkuk Province.
