Grenade attack wounds 12 in Karachi
At least 12 people were injured on Saturday evening in a grenade attack in the Lyari area of Karachi.“Unknown miscreants threw a hand grenade in Singulane 2, causing injuries to 12 people,” said City SSP Adeel Hussain Chandio. The police official added that there was no electricity in the area at the time of the attack and added that suspected gang-war elements were behind the attack. He also said the motive was spread fear and panic in the area. The injured were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for medical treatment. The injured are said to be in stable condition.
