Nine-year-old girl allegedly raped
 [DAWN] ISLAMABAD: A nine-year-old girl was allegedly raped on Wednesday, police said.The incident took place in I-16 where the girl’s family worked at a brick-kiln, and also resided there. The girl’s farther approached Noon police and lodged a complaint seeking registration of a case against the unidentified person. He told the police that he and his family were sleeping in the open area and later went inside their house when it started to rain. His daughter and her grandmother also went into the room, but after sometime the girl started screaming, the police quoted her father as saying. He and other family members rushed to the room and saw a man running away. They chased the man but he managed to escape. When the girl’s father returned, his wife told him that their daughter had been raped by the man.
