10 insurgents die in Takhar province
At least 10 Taliban insurgents were killed in an attack on Durqad district of northern Takhar province on Saturday night, local officials said on Sunday.In addition, nine other insurgents were injured. The incident took place after Taliban insurgents attacked the district from different directions and clashed with security forces, 808 Police Spinzar zone said in a statement. “The attack started at about 8 pm local time and ended at 4 am - early Sunday,” according to the statement.
