 1 dead in bombing attack near Abu Ghraib Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) One civilian was killed and four others wounded Monday when a bomb explosion rocked an area west of Baghdad, security sources reported. Security sources were quoted saying that the explosive device was placed near a popular marketplace in Haswa, Abu Gharib, west of the capital. The United Nations Assistance Mission in Iraq (UNAMI) has said that violence in the country lef 1115 casualties, excluding security members, during March. Baghdad was the second most affected province with 84 deaths and 246 injuries, according to the organization’s monthly casualty count. It excludes death toll among security members after Iraqi authorities had asked to get such information exclusively from security commands.
