Police kill 5 IS militants near strategic mosque in western Mosul

Police chief Lt. Gen. Shaker Jawdat said in statements that a commando force launched a "surprise attack" near the Hadbaa (leaning) Minaret, the quaint structure at the Grand Nuri Mosque.
