89 insurgents killed in Afghan forces operations in past 24 hours
[Khaama (Afghanistan)] At least eighty nine bully boyz belonging to the various turban groups including the Taliban bully boyz group were killed during the counter-terrorism operations in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Defense (MoD) said Thursday.

A statement by MoD said the operations were conducted in the various parts of the country and as a result at least 47 bully boyz were also maimed and at least 8 others including local commanders of the Taliban group were locked away

The statement further added that the operations were conducted with the support of the Afghan Air Force and the artillery units of the Afghan army.

According to MoD, at least 37 of the Lions of Islam comprising the ISIS loyalists were killed in the vicinity of Achin district of Nangarhar

The Ministry of Defense said at least 12 bully boyz were killed and 8 others were maimed while 3 others were arrested in Maidan Wardak province, and 6 Lions of Islam were killed while 8 others were wouned in Arghandab district of Zabul.

At least 7 bully boyz were killed and 7 others were maimed during the operations in Pashtun-infested Logar, Uruzgan, and Farah provinces of Afghanistan.
