Zabul top cop dies in checkpoint attack
Shinkay district’s Police Chief, Saifullah Hotaki, was killed on Tuesday night in a Taliban attack on the district, local officials said.The incident occurred when Taliban insurgents attacked a security forces check post in the district, officials said on Wednesday. When the police chief arrived in the area, Taliban targeted him and killed him along with five other police force members. Three other police force members were also wounded in the attack.
