Al Shabaab raids KDF army base in Southern Somalia
[SHABELLENEWS] Al-Shabaab...  Somalia's version of the Taliban, functioning as an arm of al-Qaeda...fighters have launched an attack against a KDF military base in Bardere city located in Somalia’s southern Lower Shabelle region on Tuesday night. Confirming the incident, Col Tima-jillac, a top Somali military commander in the region told Radio Shabelle that heavily armed Death Eaters engaged a brief shootout with the KDF soldiers. He added that the Death Eaters were overpowered and repulsed during the battle. The situation has returned to normal, after the battle has ceased.
