Fierce battle near Mahaday kills one, injured several
 [SHABELLENEWS] At least one person was confirmed killed, and several others were maimed in a hevay fighting between two armed clan militias in southern Somalia on Saturday morning.According to residents the skirmish broke out in Jameca Misri, a rural settlement located in the outskirts of Mahaday district in Middle Shabelle region. The fighting has raged on for several hours in the area, as both warring sides exchanged heavy and small weaponry, including machine guns and rocked propelled grenades (RPGs). The administration of middle Shabelle is yet to release its own statement concerning the clan fighting ongoing the the outskirts of Mahaday town, about 100Km north of Mogadishu.
