Syrian warbirds hammer ISIS positions in Deir Ezzor
Deir Ezzor (SyriaNews.media) Syrian Army Air Force carried out several air strikes on the Islamic State’s hideouts and gatherings in Deir Ezzor, Syria News reported on Thursday.Syrian Arab Air Force conducted heavy air strikes on gatherings and hideouts of the Islamic State group in al-Rasafa neighborhood, Deir Ezzor Cemetary al-Tharda and Ma’amel al-Block area, Syria News said. The air strikes resulted in the killing and wounding of a number of the Islamic State members, in addition to destroying hideouts and caches of weapons belonging to the Takfiri group, Syria News added. Yesterday, army forces also destroyed Islamic State’s headquarters in the Deir Ezzor Cemetery, and killed several terrorists, including the so-called Wilayat Euphrates’ weapons official Abul Zubair al-Maghribi and the IS leader Hassan al-Mulla. Meanwhile, terrorists of the Islamic State executed a civilian, by firing squad, in public in Albu Kamal area, in the countryside of Deir Ezzor, while the residents of the area managed to kill two militants and burned several vehicles, in the outskirts of the city.
