One killed, five injured in booby-trapped car explosion in Baghdad
[Iraq News] One person was killed, five others were maimed in a blast that took place in Baghdad, a security source has said."A booby-trapped car went kaboom!near a bridge of al-Rubaie street, leaving one person killed and five others maimed," the source told Alghad Press, adding that the number is subject to increase. "The blast occurred near the Federal Police deployment after the car drove off the bridge which flies over al-Rubaie street on the intersection leading to Karrada district, which has a high Shia majority. Violence and armed conflicts claimed the lives of 317 Iraqis, and caused injuries to 403 others during the month of April, according to a monthly count by the United Nations ...a formerly good idea gone bad...
