Strong 6.7-magnitude earthquake strikes Colombia
A strong earthquake struck western Colombia early Monday, destroying about a dozen homes in a port city west of the capital, but no injuries were reported, officials said. The 6.7-magnitude quake's epicenter was in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Colombia's Choco province and hit around 4 a.m. EST, said Viviana Agudelo, a spokeswoman for National Seismology Center of Colombia.
