Turkish proxies announce all-out offensive to defeat Kurds in Aleppo province
[ALMASDARNEWS] A coalition of Turkmen ‘Free Syrian Army’ (FSA) groups – formerly known as the Euphrates Shield – announced on Tuesday morning they would begin targeting positions and villages controlled by the largely Kurdish ‘Syrian Democratic Forces’ (SDF) in the northern countryside of Aleppo.The renewed Turkish-backed rebel offensive has been dubbed ‘Battle of the people from the homeland’ and looks to expel Kurdish forces whom surround the rebel pocket in rural Aleppo.
