Seth Rich murder investigation update
[Daily Caller] A White House petition urging Congress to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate the murder of Democratic National Committee (DNC) staffer Seth Rich is halfway to its goal before a June 18 deadline."The MSM [mainstream media] is not covering this murder, instead pushing it to the side, so it is now up to us," the petition asserts. "The facts do not add up, law enforcement stopped covering the crime, and now it is time for us to fight for justice." Under former President Barack Obama, the White House would respond to any "We the People" petition that received over 100,000 signatures within 30 days from the time of its posting. As of Tuesday afternoon, the Seth Rich petition needed 49,745 signatures to reach 100,000. Launched in September 2011 as a public relations tool for the Obama administration, it is unclear if the Trump administration plans to continue with the "We the People" petition system.
