Syrian Forces Attack Israel On Golan Heights As Hezbollah Leader Issues A Chilling Threat
[Western Journalism] "... suffer the consequences of any attack emanating from its territory."Residents of the Israeli communities in the eastern part of the Golan Heights in northern Israel were forced into their bomb shelters Saturday when more than 10 mortar shells landed in the area causing no casualties or damage. The Israeli Defense Forces said the mortar fire was "errand fire" from Syrian factions fighting each other in the Kuneitra region which is controlled by the former Al-Qaeda branch Jabhat Fatah al-Sham, formerly known as Jabhat al-Nusra. However, as the Israeli response made clear, the mortar attacks on the Jewish communities were most likely the work of the pro-Assad coalition, which is currently trying to reconquer the border region with Israel.
