Bad Guys knock over Kop Shop in Zawia
 Tunis, 4 July 2017: An armed group has stormed and ransacked the offices of the Zawia traffic police. The unidentified militia burst through the front entrance and threatened the director and others in the building with their guns. They stole air conditioning units, computers and several files. They then went to the traffic division’s car park though it is unclear if they seized any vehicles. There are various militias in Zawia and they sporadically fight each other. Often it is between the rival Ahneish and Khadrawi factions. Last month the Ahneish’s leader was killed, sparking clashes in the centre of of the town. Posted by: badanov 2017-07-05 |
