Murad says no justification for PM to stay in power after JIT report
[DAWN] Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah asked Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif
... served two non-consecutive terms as prime minister, heads the Pakistain Moslem League (Nawaz). Noted for his spectacular corruption, the 1998 Pak nuclear test, border war with India, and for being tossed by General Musharraf...
on Monday to quit his office as soon as possible since a three-judge Supreme Court bench began hearing the Panama Papers case in the light of a damning report prepared by a joint investigation team formed to probe money laundering allegations against the PM and his children.

The CM told news hounds here that the ’noose’ around the PM’s neck was being tightened, as two SC judges had already declared him guilty of being involved in the Panama Papers case and after the JIT report he had no justification to remain in power.

The CM’s plane made an inaugural landing at the under-construction Islamkot airport. He drove straight to Malani House in Mithi where he told the media that he had already directed the authorities concerned to complete the remaining part of the airport so that foreign engineers, especially those from China, engaged in mining and power production could easily travel.
