Ann Coulter and Delta Airlines: 'Now For the Rest of The Story'
[Blaze] Ann Coulter isn’t done with Delta Air Lines, despite a $30 refund credited to her after a seat mix-up on a recent flight.
Coulter on Saturday excoriated the airline for unceremoniously switching up her pre-booked "extra room" seat on the plane, which she claims cost her an additional $30, and four days later, Coulter is still managing to stir up controversy about what the conservative author and speaker now says was a nefarious plot to inconvenience her.
Tuesday saw Coulter share a text message conversation from who she claimed was a Delta flight attendant, and noted that she was moved for "political" reasons.
Coulter captioned the screenshot on Twitter with, "BEWARE OF @DELTA REPUBLICANS. Texts from a flight attendant: It was political. @Delta still won’t give a reason."
The text thread between what she alleged to be two Delta employees read:
"Someone at the desk saw Ann’s name and picked it on purpose? Is there a randomizer when it comes to these situations?"
The other purported employee answered, "No, someone noticed her, and just wanted to be a jerk amb [sic] make her life miserable."
"That’s what I figured," the first alleged employee responded.
The second added, "Yeah, I said that on several secret FB groups of [XXX Airline] employees, and when I defended her, we went back & forth, and at the end, they acknowledged that it was a Delta employee who targeted Ann on purpose."
Earlier in the day, Coulter doubled down on the previous day’s remarks and said, "After all those snarky @Delta tweets, it’s more likely they had a reason -- and it was a bad one. @Delta still not saying."
Coulter on Monday claimed that the airline took her seat without so much as an explanation.
