US-backed rebel commander defects to Syrian Army
[ALMASDARNEWS] The commander of one of the US-backed rebel groups in southern Syria has defected to the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), opposition activists reported via social media.Abu al-Hos, a military commander in Jaish Mughawir al-Thoura, allegedly defected to the Syrian Arab Army in the Badiya area of rural Damascus, taking several fighters and vehicles with him.
