Thai police escape bomb ambush uninjured
[The Nation] Insurgents set off a roadside bomb to ambush a team of deputy inspectors from Sugnai Padi police station in Narathiwat on Friday morning, but the police car escaped the blast. No one was hurt.

Sungai Padi deputy inspector Preecha Polsa was traveling in the car with two policemen. When they reached the spot, detonated the bomb via walkie-talkie. Because of the way that the bomb was placed on top of an anthill, the blast was directed upwards. The main blast force missed the car, which suffered only minor damage.T
