Syrian Army attempts to advance on key base near Deir Ezzor border
[ALMASDARNEWS] The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has been attempting to advance on the strategic T-2 Pumping Station in the eastern countryside of the Homs Governorate recently, pushing from two different axes in order to break-through the enemy lines.Units from the Syrian Army’s 5th Corps have been attacking the Humaymah area near the T-2 Station for nearly three weeks now, while their allies from the Russian Air Force pound the Islamic State’s (ISIL) positions around the desert.
