Taliban suffer casualties as Afghan forces repulse their coordinated attack in Nangarhar
 [Khaama (Afghanistan)] The Taliban...the Pashtun equivalent of men... snuffies suffered casualties after their coordinated attack was repulsed by the Afghan cops in eastern Nangarhar The unfortunate Afghan province located adjacent to Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber Agencies. The capital is Jalalabad. The province was the fief of Younus Khalis after the Soviets departed and one of his sons is the current provincial Taliban commander. Nangarhar is Haqqani country.. province of Afghanistan. The provincial government media office in a statement said several Taliban snuffies launched coordinated attack on security check posts in Momand Dara. The statement further added that Taliban’s attack received a befitting response from the security forces, resulting into the casualties of several Taliban Lion of Islams, including one of their big shots. At least four snuffies were killed during the festivities and six others including their shadow district governor Abdul Aziz were maimed. The local officials are saying that several foreign snuffies are also among those killed or maimed but the identities of them have not been disclosed.
