Putin condemns Barcelona attack, calls for united front against terror

The old bunch, without close personal ties to Putin, are in jail or in exile or dead...has condemned a recent terror attack in Barcelona, Spain, calling on the international community to "join forces" against terrorism. "We strongly condemn this brutal and cynical crime against civilians," Putin said Thursday, shortly after an alleged ISIS sympathizer smashed his van into pedestrians in Barcelona’s busy Las Ramblas Street, killing at least 13 and injuring some 80 others. "What has happened once again emphasizes the need for the global community to join efforts to fight against the forces of terror," the Russian head of state added.
