Possible Bomb Found During St. Paul Traffic Stop, 2 in Custody
[KSTP] Police and bomb squads are investigating a possible explosive that was discovered in a vehicle in St. Paul Saturday morning, according to police spokesman Steve Linders.

According to the department, the device was found during a traffic stop at Maryland Avenue East and Lane Place at about 5 a.m. Linders said the device appears to be a type of pipe bomb, but authorities are still working to determine exactly what it is.

Linders said the incident began with an argument between a man and a woman in the area, and the woman gave a description of a suspect's car.

When police located the car, they found two men inside, along with two handguns and the device.
