Missouri Gov. Greitens demands ouster of Sen. Maria Chapelle-Nadal over assassination remark
[ABC] Missouri Governor Eric Greitens on Friday demanded the removal of a state senator who called for President Trump's assassination in a now-deleted Facebook post. Those remarks prompted an investigation by the U.S. Secret Service.Sen. Maria Chapelle-Nadal, a Democrat, wrote on her personal Facebook page Thursday, "I hope Trump is assassinated!" She later deleted the post. Chapelle-Nadal has balked at calls for her resignation. "I am not resigning," she tweeted Thursday.
