Yemeni journalists braving the wrath of Houthi-Saleh alliance, report finds
 [ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] The Yemeni Journalists Syndicate has condemned the violations of the Houthi ...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The Yemeni government has accused the Houthis of having ties to the Iranian government, which wouldn't suprise most of us. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews... militias and their ally, ousted President-for-Life Saleh ... exemplifying the Arab's propensity to combine brutality with incompetence... , against journalists and the media. The union, in its report on the sidelines of UNHCR meetings in Geneva revealed that the violations affected more than 200 journalists and media organizations, calling for the release of journalists tossed in the calaboose Drop the heater, Studs, or you're hist'try! The year 2017 appears to be more violent and hostile towards journalists, according to the report, which documented 130 violations by Houthis and Saleh allies against journalists during the first half of this year, up 30 percent from the same period last year.
