Syrian, Russian forces stop ISIS counteroffensive in south Deir Ezzor dead in its tracks
[ALMASDARNEWS] Remarkable footage has emerged from southeastern Syria depicting an entire ISIS fighting force wiped out by a coordinated effort by the Russian Air Force and Syrian Arab Army (SAA).The video showed numerous burned out ISIS vehicles in the desert directly east of government-held Humimah where jihadists continue to launch hit-and-run attacks in a bid to prevent the SAA from reaching the Euphrates River in southern Deir Ezzor. A second video has also emerged of the same failed jihadist offensive, this time depicting Go-Pro footage of an ISIS bad boy being blown to smithereens by a SAA tank. In the coming weeks, the SAA’s so-called ’Big Dawn’ offensive is expected to unfold with the ultimate aim of retaking Deir Ezzor province, thus spelling an irreversible defeat for the self-declared caliphate and its leader, His Supreme Immensity, Caliph of the Faithful and Galactic Overlord, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi ...formerly merely the head of ISIL and a veteran of the Bagram jailhouse.
