ISIS counterattack in Hama yields 2 villages
Hama (Syria News) Militants from the self-proclaimed Islamic State group managed to capture two villages, located east of Hama, from the Syrian regime forces, activists told Qasioun News.The activists informed that the Islamic State militants captured the villages of Mas’ud and Rasm al-Awabed, east of Hama, after battles and clashes with Syrian regime forces in the vicinity of Uqayribat town. It is noteworthy that the Syrian army forces recaptured the city of Uqayribat and the villages of Abu Hanaya and Selba, earlier this week, while tightened their grip on Selba’s oil station.
