Syrian rebel groups attacks ISIS position in Deir Ezzor
Deir Ezzor (Syria News) The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), on Monday, launched an attack on the headquarters of the Islamic State group, northeast of Deir Ezzor.

Qasioun News reported that The Syrian Democratic Forces militia launched an attack on the headquarters of the Islamic State group, near al-Soor City, northeast of Deir Ezzor.

Clashes broke out between the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Islamic State militants; meanwhile, the international coalition warplanes bombarded the headquarters of the Islamic State group in the villages of Hassan Gomaa and Garya, which are located on the banks of Khabour River.

The attack was launched after the SDF seized the industrial City, north of Deir Ezzor, then moved towards the northeast areas, after seizing Koniko oil field.

It is noteworthy that the Islamic State lost large areas in the countryside of Deir Ezzor, while the Russian Ministry of Defense posted photos showing coordination between the U.S. troops and the Islamic State militants in the area.
