Russians continue to hammer ISIS positions in Deir Ezzor
Deir Ezzor (Syria News) Russian has announced that it will support the Syrian army forces against the Islamic State in Deir Ezzor, Qasioun News reported on Sunday.Russia announced that it will provided the needed aerial support, through its Hameimim Air Base in Syria, for the regime forces to fight the Islamic State militants, east of Deir Ezzor, while official sources revealed that Syrian army forces recaptured the area of Marat al-Fawqa and parts of Hattla Tahtani Village. Meanwhile, Islamic State-held media outlets stated that the militant group has killed more than eighty soldiers of the Syrian army and allied militias in the outskirts of the city of Mayadin.
